Rev. Chad Edwards-Gray is a passionate advocate, theologian, and community leader deeply committed to building leaders and breaking limitations. 

Pastor Edwards-Gray was born in the city of Orlando, Florida. He accepted Christ at an early age. He acknowledged God’s calling on his life to preach the Gospel at the age of fourteen and preached his first message at fifteen years old. From an early age, he was drawn to the intersections of faith, service, and social transformation.

Rev. Edwards-Gray matriculated through the halls of academia of higher learning at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, FL where he received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education. He received his Bachelor of Christian Studies from Anderson University in Anderson, SC. He received a Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership from Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, FL and a Master of Divinity from Garrett Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership at United Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN.

Our pastor has served serval church in the state of Florida as their Music Minister. He also served Mt. Hermon AME Church in Homestead, FL as their pastor, and previously served at Quinn Chapel AME Church, Chicago, IL as the Associate Minister serving the Youth and Young Adults. Rev. Edwards previously served as pastor of Mother St. James AME Church in Minneapolis, MN, the oldest African American congregation in the state of Minnesota. He currently leads Payne Memorial AME Church in Waterloo, IA as Senior Pastor.

Rev. Edwards-Gray is an Itinerate Elder in the AME Church. He’s passionate about cultivating communities who changes the way culture experiences church. He has a heart to see GenerationX, Mellinials, and Generation Z return back to the four walls of the church by any Godly means necessary. He remains focused on God’s will, destiny, and purpose for his life, he keeps the declarations of Psalm 27 resonating through the corridors of his mind.
